Just a quick little clip testing out the new video camera. Will wants to touch the baby in the camera and Max decided to wear a helmet for some unknown reason.
Us boys had the place to ourselves and we decided to go wild outside. Will is brave in the grass, even though sometimes it’s obvious he doesn’t like how it feels. He’s just figuring out he can’t actually catch the birds.
Ben is the commander of the playset, seeing he’s the oldest. Sometimes we’ll play “tickle monster”, which is fun for the whole family. And good exercise for myself.
Max still enjoys exploring the back woods. He discovered our neighbor’s house through some of the still leafless trees and was convinced it was a secret shortcut to Grandpa’s house. I’m going to have to keep a close eye on Max or else our neighbors will have a surprise visitor!
What is up with this boy’s hair? He’s received a haircut since this picture was taken.
We’ll see how much sand we can keep in the sandbox this year.
I had to take that last action shot quick before I helped him up. Yes, I was being a bad parent, but he wasn’t hurt and I had the camera all lined up. He got right back on and kept going.
We all had a hankering to do something outside to enjoy some of the first batch of warm weather this year. We chose to go to the Milwaukee Zoo, along with quite a lot of other people that had the same idea. Despite the crowds, we had a great time! Of course we had to ride the train, Max was very insistent.
Will loved it, too. The older kids got their own car. We’re that family now.
Maybe we’ll go again this week as the weather looks to be nice again and the kids are on spring break.
